AIC-EMPI conducted India’s First Women Botpreneur Training Program under the Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP) scheme of the Department of Science & Technology, GoI in collaboration with EMPI Business School and the global leader in Robotic Process Automation, Automation Anywhere.The training commenced from February 18, 2020 at the EMPI campus.
Today the intelligent digital workforce is rebalancing workload between people and bots, eliminating repetitive tasks to enable human creativity and ingenuity to solve higher value business challenges. This new era of work requires new sets of skills and ideas to help business across the world. Thus the objective of the training programme was to empower the aspiring young women entrepreneurs in this new aspect of technology, wherein they were trained on how to learn, make and sell bots. The weeklong Bot training was conducted at the AIC-EMPI Bot Lab, in collaboration with Automation Anywhere, a leading global automation solution provider. Automation Anywhere has pioneered intelligent automation and has cultivated tremendous advancements in RPA technology to become one of the fastest growing technologies in the world. Swapna Bapat, Senior Director, Sales Engineering and Paramantapa Dasgupta, Senior Manager-Training, Certification-Partnerships from Automation Anywhere attended the inauguration of the programme.
The programme also imparted structured capacity building training on various aspects of entrepreneurship such as logistics, supply chain, product marketing, financial planning, resource management, marketing, finance, business strategy, artificial intelligence, operations, legal & compliance etc.
The programme included a lot of real life experiences from successful entrepreneurs who shared their experiences with the students.During the course of the program, on 8th March 2020, the participants also celebrated International Women’s Day.
