Action Research Survey on ‘Indian Mobility Landscape – A transformation to the Future’ at Auto Expo 2020

AIC-EMPI organized a long visit to the Auto Expo 2020, asia’s biggest and the world’s second largest motor show for its startups and EMPI students on 11th February 2020, Greater Noida as part of its action research survey on Indian Mobility Landscape – A transformation to the future. The participants met the companies, buyers / sellers, manufacturers, distributors and took their interviews and their inputs in the survey to understand the market.

The expo was jointly organized by Automotive Component Manufacturers of India (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). The theme of the expo was “Co-Create, Co-Exist and Celebrate”. Electrified mobility, concepts and intelligent technology along with SUVs took centre stage. Maruti Suzuki’s Jimny, Kia Sonet concept and Tata Sierra SUV were some of the major crowd-pullers at the event. Total companies that participated were 108, product displays were 352, electric vehicles launched were 35 and new concepts showcased were 15.
