A product is as successful as it becoming a brand, because brand is the perceptual connect with the consumer. A unique Brandathon event was conducted that looked at automotive branding as to how, new start-ups can not only create great products but devise brand strategies to enter and compete in the market place.
A masterclass on branding was first given to close to 50 participants who then underwent a 30-hour non-stop brand building and promotion exercise. Their branding strategies were then presented to a jury of leading brand leaders from the automotive and related sectors.
The participants were judged by Mr. Anshul Punhani, Chief Marketing officer – Monster.com; Mr. Rohit Kumar, Vice President – Hansa Research Group and Mr. Sriram Padmanabhan, Vice President, Marketing – Nissan India
Sriram Padmanabhan, Vice-President (Marketing), Nissan India said that he was quite surprised and impressed with the creative ideas of the students. He said it’s a great thing that organizations like AIC-EMPI are setting up events like these.
Winning teams were from Aryabhatta College – Delhi, Manav Rachna University – Faridabad and JMIT – Yamunanaga.
