An Interactive session on joint development of startup ecosystem and setting up of a Start-up Cell to be mentored and supported by AIC – EMPI was organized Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) on 19th July 2020.

Event was attended by Dr.Ravindra Eklarker, Principal, Prof. Madhav Nirgude, Dr. Rajendra Mogre, HoDs, Sr. Professors and faculty members totalling 23. AIC- EMPI was represented by Mr. Vinod Midha, CEO; Mr. Mukesh Chandra Kestwal, Incubation Manager; and Mr. Ravindra Yadav, Technical Outreach Officer.

GNDEC Team gave a presentation about their facilities, programmes and industry linkages and highlighted the focus of the institute since inception towards encouraging students for technology lead solution.

AIC-EMPI Team explained the background of setting up and focus areas of the incubator. Various unique facilities specially created to provide world class ecosystem for the startups was explained as also various programs to provide necessary skill and competency building inputs including master classes, training programs, interactive sessions which are being organized and conducted with the help of industry specialists. Facilities for Rapid prototyping using advanced simulation software and Fab Lab was explaied whichwould greatly reduce cost and time for converting ideas into market ready products and solutions.

The webinar continued for about two hours and an interactive session was heldto discuss various possibilities.
